Katya Barash is a teacher with a Russian background, who has a Master's degree in music and is a member of the board of the New England Piano Teacher Association. She has a unique method based on experience and many years of studying in different countries (Russia, Germany, USA). She has been living in Boston, USA for 20 years, where she successfully runs her private home studio with her own Yamaha piano. She teaches private classes for students from 5-18 years old and adult students. Her students make lots of progress in a very short amount of time, raising their level quickly while also enjoying playing and learning piano right away after beginning lessons with her. Lessons with Katya are very enjoyable for students, as she connects with them very well and is able to generate student interest for playing piano.
